Your tour begins with ....
... time to recover, two nights in Ho Chi Minh City, and a full day to explore Vietnam’s commercial metropolis. Once you’ve arrived and settled in, we’ll lay on a ‘Welcome’ dinner where you can meet your guide and check out the itinerary. On the following morning, you can ‘do’ Ho Chi Minh City: the Jade Emperor Pagoda, Ben Thanh Market, Cholon, the War Remnants Museum, the Reunification Palace – anything that takes your fancy and time allows.

Meals: one lunch and one dinner
Guide: transfers, Welcome dinner and the following day

A day and a half on the Mekong Delta, and a day and a half on the beach
Your main centre will be Vinh Long – it’s good for all the main elements of the distinct Mekong culture – cottage industries, orchards, floating markets and so on

After a night in Can Tho, you’ll be woken at cock-crow for a quick breakfast to catch the large Cai Rang floating market: it’s at its best in the early morning. Next comes a drive to Rach Gia to board a flight to Phu Quoc Island with time to relax. The following day is free, the sand is white and soft and the water is warm and clear.

Meals: three breakfasts and two lunches
Guide: From Ho Chi Minh City to Rach Gai airport

A remarkable temple and a famous Vietnam War site
An early start to the day for the 08.10 flight to Ho Chi Minh City airport and a drive to the Cu Chi tunnels. After lunch, you’ll catch the mid afternoon ceremony at the Cao Dai Holy See.

Meals: one breakfast and one lunch

Guide: from the airport until return to Ho Chi Minh City

Time to leave!
Unless you have an early flight, you’ll have time for shopping until your car arrives to take you to Ho Chi Minh City’s Tan Son Nhat airport.

Meals: one breakfast
