Thailand Tour - Bangkok Stopover

Three nights in Thailand's metropolis en-route from or to Indochina or elsewhere, with possible extensions

Highlights:
The palace of the King of Thailand, the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, a 5.5-ton Golden Buddha, a 49-metre high Reclining Buddha and the Marble Temple

When you arrive ....
... and after you've settled into your hotel, you'll have time to relax. The afternoon and evening is free for you to wander around the busy city centre. Watch out for the traffic, though - it's fast and furious. If you're feeling adventurous, try a ride in a tuk-tuk.

A day exploring Bangkok's cultural treasure-house
There's plenty to do and see in Bangkok. We've chosen its most impressive cultural sites - richly decorated pagodas with exhuberant oriental architecture, the King's former palace with its sumptuous furnishings and lavish decoration. However, there are plenty of alternatives - check out the 'Tailor-made Options' box for alternative or additional suggestions.

A free day
We've left the day free for you to sightsee and wander around the city. It's a shopper's paradise and full of surprises. On the following morning, or later according to your flight time, you'll be chaffeured back to the airport to resume your journey.

This stopover is four days/three nights
It includes:
all transfers
an expert local guide for your city tour
three breakfasts and one lunch
