Flight and arrival: 3 days in Hanoi
Allow us to welcome you to Vietnam's capital by inviting you to some fine dining at a colonial building from the French Era, followed by a performance of Vietnam's unique Water Puppetry. Attractions include the Temple of Literature; Vietnam's first university; Ho Chi Minh's stilt house and Mausoleum; a splendid pagoda beside West Lake ; the bustling Old Quarter with its thriving maze of shopping streets and restaurants; excursions to surrounding craft villages on the Red River Delta ; a performance of traditional Quan Ho music performed by villagers in the commune house.

Outline tour arrangements • Tours depart monthly and are fourteen days in duration (including flights).
• Groups are limited to a maximum of twelve travellers only; bookings must be finalised at least 35 days before departure.
• Tour prices are fixed and valid until December 2008.
• Domestic flights are included: international flights are not included .
• Accommodation includes a three star hotel in Hanoi, eco-lodges, eco-resorts and a chalet in a National Park: rooms are and based on double occupancy including breakfast: single room occupancy will attract a surcharge.
• All cruise vessels are chartered for the group's exclusive use and are officially registered.
• Prices include all land transport; entrance fees; domestic flights and most meals.
All destinations will be escorted by specialist local guides apart from free days or part-days.
