traditional crafts, rural life, wide range of varied cottage industries.

2: Can Tho to Soc Trang to Can Tho [b, l, g]
Drive to Cai Rang, boat cruise on the Mekong Delta. Drive to Soc Trang
(small town well off the beaten tourist track with some unusual attractions).

3: Can Tho to Cao Lanh-Tam Nong [b, l, d, g]
Morning drive to Cao Lanh, boat to Rung Tram Forest – secret Viet Cong
base during the Vietnam War. Picnic lunch. Cruise to visit the white stork
nesting area. Drive to Tam Nong.
Overnight in local hotel.
 Day
4: Tam Nong to Chau Doc [b, l, g]
Boat to visit Tram Chim National Wetlands Reserve. Travel to Chau Doc
and the Cambodian border.
Overnight in Chau Doc.
Day
5: Chau Doc [b, l, g]
Sightseeing: floating houses, Cham ethnic minority villages, Sam Mountain,
Temple of Lady Chua Su. Option to visit the Bone Pagoda in Ba Chuc.
Overnight in Chau Doc.
 Day
6: Chau Doc to Ho Chi Minh [b, g]
Return to Ho Chi Minh City by car or hydrofoil. Free time.

Transfer or departure from Tan Son Nhat airport.
